    The Sun Sets on SurveyMoz

    SurveyMoz has been a sister product of SmartSurvey for many years, but the time has come for it to go into a well-deserved retirement. This is going to happen on November 1st, 2020. This means that if you’re a SurveyMoz user, then you’ll need to do a few things differently. Don’t worry though, your surveys and your data aren’t going anywhere. See the Q and A below for details.

    Q: What’s happening to SurveyMoz.com?

    A: This will be unavailable from November 1st, 2020 and all accounts and data will move to SmartSurvey.co.uk. If you try and access app.surveymoz.com after November 1st, you will be redirected to SmartSurvey.

    Q: How can I access my account in future?

    A: After November 1st, go to https://app.smartsurvey.co.uk/ and log in using your existing credentials, these haven’t been changed. Before this date, you will still need to use https://app.surveymoz.com to log in.

    Q: What about my surveys and responses?

    A: These will all be transferred to SmartSurvey as well. Any live surveys with surveymoz.com links will continue to work on the same link in future, but any newly created survey links will have smartsurvey.co.uk links.

    Q: I’m on a paid SurveyMoz account, what will happen?

    A: If you’re paying via a recurring subscription, this will remain until your next payment date. At that point, your SurveyMoz subscription will end and you’ll need to choose from the available SmartSurvey plans as described on our Pricing Page. If you’re paying via an invoiced plan, one of our account managers will be in touch.

    Q: Does this have any implications for data hosting, security, privacy policies, and other similar issues?

    A: No. SurveyMoz and SmartSurvey have operated under a common framework for these things.

    Q: Why is this happening?

    A: SurveyMoz has always sat alongside SmartSurvey and in the past couple of years, the two have diverged a lot in terms of features as we have upgraded SmartSurvey. Because of this, it’s become increasingly challenging to maintain both to the required standard, and we want all our users to benefit from the improvements and new features we have planned. If you liked using SurveyMoz, you’ll love using SmartSurvey.
