We are delighted to announce that SmartSurvey is shortlisted in two categories of the 2018 Celebrating Small Business Awards for the South West, hosted by the Federation of Small Businesses. We are nominated for Digital Business of the Year and Family Business of the Year.
Managing Director, Abid Naser, explained “Everybody at SmartSurvey is thrilled to be nominated for two awards, it is testament to the whole team’s hard work and commitment. The FSB awards showcase the best small businesses the length and breadth of the UK and it is fantastic to be recognised alongside the other successful businesses on the shortlist.
I am especially pleased to be recognised due to my attachment with the FSB. I have been a longstanding FSB member and served as Tewkesbury Chair for two years. I have enjoyed working with my FSB colleagues and providing support for many other small businesses”.
Digital Business of the Year
The Digital Business of the Year award recognises online stars who have maximised all aspects of ecommerce to achieve growth and a strong financial performance through exceptional customer experience. With increasing importance placed on data security and serious consequences for non-compliance, the team at SmartSurvey has worked relentlessly to provide high levels of security.
SmartSurvey identified a gap in the market, as it was obvious that there was a lack of services that offered high levels of security and assurances that data is stored and backed up within the UK and not transmitted outside the EU. With GDPR being implemented in May 2018, business is growing fast, with organisations migrating to SmartSurvey from US-based competitors.
Family Business of the Year
The Family Business of the Year award champions the big contribution family firms make to business. This category seeks to reward the UK’s top family-run SMEs and recognises SmartSurvey’s ability to navigate challenges and optimise opportunities.
The FSB Awards 2018
The FSB Small Business Awards showcase the best small businesses from the length and breadth of the country, recognising innovation, enterprise and accomplishment amongst the UK’s 5.5 million-strong small business sector.
We are thrilled to be nominated for these awards so early in the New Year and look forward to meeting all the other regional finalists at the award’s lunch on Tuesday, 20 February at the Somerset County Cricket Club in Taunton.
Best of luck to everyone shortlisted
